Drawn from cask number 13, this year’s release from Bruichladdich packs an unusual peaty punch with a high level of 80ppm!

Only 1000 bottles filled for this release, but we were told that this number would be much less, due to the high level of tasting going on in the Laddieshop! ,and also due to the fact that everyone purchasing a bottle got to fill and cork it themselves! Resulting in a far amount of wastage in the bucket below the large cask.

To the acient Greeks the Hebrides were "Hyperborea"- A mythical land beyond the north winds. To the Scotti these islands to the west were "The coast of the gaels":Oirthir Gaidheal - The deprivation of the modern "Argyll".
