A special release bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society for the Islay Whisky Festival 2022. Distilled 1st April 2013 at the Caol Ila distillery 'Throw The Cork Away' started it's life in bourbon hogsheads then it was transferred and finished in 1st fill American oak ex-Oloroso sherry hogsheads. Matured for 8 years in cask then bottles at 58.4% vol.
