A 39 year old release from Caperdonich distillery which was sadly demolished in 2010. Distilled in March 1972 and aged in a first fill Sherry butt for 39 years before being bottled in August 2011 by Gordon & MacPhail under their Connoisseurs Choice series.

Nose: Sherry influences with a hint of almond.
Palate: Sweet with delicate fruity edge. A maltiness lingers.
Body: Light to medium.
Finish: Long and rounded.
Cask type: First fill Sherry butt.
