
Servant is one of ten characterful whiskies in The Household series by Macbeth with Oliver Chilton choosing revered single malt Clynelish for this latest expression. Adored for its waxy character, this limited edition release has been expertly crafted from 1st fill bourbon barrels for matured for a minimum of 14 years.

The night’s torch has been snuffed out, wax gathering in the holder. A new dawn. Dreams of happier times - a fresh breeze, heavy with hot gorse leans in at the window, a moment of bliss in the madness. Then the voice calls, the reverie shattered. It is not yet over.
Released as part of the Macbeth series from Livingstone, that feature illustrations by Sir Quentin Blake and character descriptions for the whiskies by Dave Broom.

Nose
Clynelish is one of the most sought after and revered malts, loved for its unique waxy character. For a blender however, it can be the foundation to build a blend, allowing other malts to shine.
Palate
his particular whisky, fully matured in first fill bourbon, wears its responsibility for service well, with the butterscotch sweetness and candlewax texture supported by ground ginger and toasted vanilla.
Finish
This is certainly a supporting character to take note of, as you rarely get to see it centre stage
