Connoisseurs Choice Heritage Collection Volume One (Gordon & MacPhail)
Launched in 1968 by George Urquhart and described by whisky writer Charles MacLean as 'the father of single malt', the Connoisseurs Choice range was built on a simple but radical idea: to bring single malts from lesser-seen distilleries to enthusiasts who wanted to explore beyond the familiar.
Volume One of the Heritage Collection honours that founding vision. Five whiskies, five distilleries, each with its own chapter in Scottish whisky history. Dallas Dhu, Benromach, Glenlochy, Port Ellen, Rosebank, names that span the closed, the celebrated and the quietly legendary. Matured in Gordon & MacPhail's own casks across four to five decades. Each bottle carries the iconic map label that defined the original range.
