Dailuaine 16 Year Old - 2008 | Cask 131 | Infrequent Flyers Batch 17 (Includes 3cl Sample)
We're rather excited about this single cask release from Alistair Walker and the Infrequent Flyers, similar cask management used on other drams (think Tamdhu, Tormore & Strathmill) which have all be excellent! Distilled in 2008 and matured for 16 years, a single cask release, bottled from a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. 293 bottles filled at 54.4% vol, released as part of the 17th batch of Infrequent Flyers. Make to read the tasting notes below to get a nice feel for this dram!
3cl sample of this delightful single cask Benriach (Cask 2376) included with each bottle ordered!

Tasting Notes
Awards
Nose
Initially floral and fruity - peaches and red plums. Then come the heavier notes - praline and Macadamia nuts.
Palate
Lush, dense and somewhat intense…. Ooh yeah, it's the mocha, man! PX to the fore, this dram clotheslines you with a flurry of dark chocolate, espresso coffee and brown sugar, followed by a forearm smash of raisins and sultanas.
Finish
Off the top rope comes Madagascan vanilla, before closing with a figure four leg-lock of sweet spice, cloves and black pepper.
