Tasting Notes
Awards
Nose
Very nutty - toasted coconut, roasted peanuts - and rich marzipan. Unmistakeably a mature single grain whisky.
Palate
The grain whisky brings molten Demerara sugar and coconut toasties, whilst the port cask weighs in with stewed apricots, raisins, and a some tingly nutmeg.
Finish
Some nice wood for this whisky to spend its latter years in.
