We're finishing off 2018 in style, teaming up with Wine & Spirits Merchant Berry Bros & Rudd, to bottle this exemplary single malt Glen Garioch, for the next instalment in our 10th anniversary series. A robust and complex Highland malt, that still retains that hint of smoke and older characteristics that we dearly love from a 'Geery' distilled prior to 1994... 78 bottles only!
Tasting Notes
Glen Garioch 25 Year Old - 1993 - Tasting Notes
This robust Highland malt whisky exudes brooding aromas of earthen floor warehouses and rich malting barley, with some honied toast emerging with time. The palate is a complex feast of blood orange, ginger, cocoa and hessian, with a whiff of smoke appearing briefly. A lingering finish gives waves of wood spice and citrus. An exemplary Highland dram; one to enjoy atop a Munro with a good friend.
