Glenlivet 30 Year Old Official Tasting Notes

Colour: Warm gold.

Nose: Almonds, leather, peaches, liquorices, cream rhubarb, soft pickles and grain mustard.

Taste: Caramel, gooseberries, soft oakiness and then some heavier fruits. Figs and dates and then mint. Toffee sweets get bigger and bigger.

Finish: Lots of toffee, traces of wood smoke and lots of raisins butter.

Comment: Glenlivet really does age well – toffee and fruits all the way.
