Distilled in 2011, this small batch release of single malt Glenrothes was bottled by independent Scotch whisky bottlers, Signatory. Matured for 12 years in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks then bottled at a very drinkable 48.2% vol, un-chillfiltered and at natural colour. Glenrothes distillery was founded in 1878 and works very well in Sherry casks, we're rather excited about this latest small batch release from Signatory, it should be an excellent dram for the colder nights ahead!
