We've not seen many single cask releases from GlenWyvis distillery, so it's great to see Little Brown Dog Spirits bottle this rare indie single cask bottling. Distilled in 2019 and fully matured for 4 years and 1 day in a Madeira cask. Madeira casks are said to be used as part of the core expressions from GlenWyvis distillery, so in the words of LBD it's a real treat to taste a glimpse of the future single malt whisky from GlenWyvis distillery.
The label represents a patchwork of heather like the moorland of Ben Wyvis. Only 299 bottles filled at cask strength, 56.5% vol.
