Nose: A complex nose that is initially quite floral gives way to creamy beeswax, salted butter and oranges. There is a balsamic note as well as dried red currants and a hint of leather. Add just a little water and the characteristic heather smoke comes to the fore along with a little coriander and manuka honey.
Palate: Nutty fruitcake and a little dark chocolate intermingle with oak and some more malty, hoppy notes.
Finish: A soft oak finish with gentle smoke and hints of jasmine.
