Hard to believe, but we're onto the 8th edition of 100% Islay from Kilchoman distillery... Fast becoming, no longer a new distillery! The 8th edition is a vatting of 23 bourbon barrels and 7 Oloroso sherry butts, distilled from barely grown and malted at the distillery itself! Previous releases of 100% Islay have been solely bourbon barrels, this years release has the addition of the sherry casks and is said to add depth and richness...
