This 14 Year Old is the 100% Islay expression in the first Kilchoman Family Collection, and the only release in the series built entirely from barley grown and malted on site at Rockside Farm. Distilled in 2011 and peated to 20ppm, it stands apart from the collection's Port Ellen malted bottlings, offering a direct point of comparison between Kilchoman's own farm grown grain and externally sourced malt at a similar age. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 50.9% abv, it reflects the field-to-bottle approach Kilchoman has followed since becoming Islay's first new distillery in over a century.
