Early in production of Kilchoman distillery, Machir Bay was bottled once a year, with each release containing added aged whisky. Machir Bay 2013 release is a vatting of 4 & 5 year old ex-bourbon casks, with the 4-year-old casks being finished in Oloroso sherry butts for a further 4 weeks prior to bottling.
