It's here, the tenth batch of the excellent 'Heavily Peated' single malt from Glengyle distillery, Campbeltown. Released in the Summer of 2024, this latest batch has been created from ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks then bottled at 57.8% vol. Always an excellent and high standard release from Glengyle distillery.
Tasting Notes

Nose
A sweet introduction, there are notes of icing sugar, creme brulee and custard.
Palate
The peat smoke is soft and sweet, with notes of toasted marshmallows typical of the Kilkerran Heavily Peated range. Hints of gooseberries and parma violets develop over time.
Finish
The sweetness lingers in the finish in notes of orange pulp.
