Crafted through a serendipitous encounter, this latest Living Souls release combines 18 year old, heavily peated single malt from a renowned island distillery along with a very small quantity of 3 year old grain! The malt was matured for 16 years in refill bourbon and hogsheads before being finished for an additional 2 years in sherry casks. The result is a blend comprised of 99% 18 year old single malt and 1% 3 year old grain, earning its name 'Ninety-Nine & One'.
Superb value for a superb dram, Living Souls 99&1 has been bottled at very drinkable 46.4% vol, non-chill filtered and at natural colour.
