The name Longmorn is said to derive from an old Scottish word meaning "place of the holy man".

This single malt has been matured in a refill hogshead which has allowed much of the distillery character to shine. Fresh apples and pears come to the fore as the aromatics open. There is a creamy hint with some floral notes accompanied by a little pepper. The palate offers a mouth-filling burst of sweet fruit balanced by emerging spice.
