The latest release from J & A Mitchell & Co. Ltd is this peated Longrow from the Campbeltown whisky region. Distilled in 2001 & bottled in 2013 after maturing in Rundlet & Kilderkin barrels for 11 years. A Kilderkin or Rundlet is a small oak cask equal to an imperial measurement of volume of 18 gallons or 68 litres. With this process the spirit has a lot more contact with the wood resutling in some very rich, complex flavours.
