The latest limited edition Fèis Ìle bottling from Mac-Talla is this delicious Amarone wine cask expression, a vatting of two 1st fill Amarone wine casks have been married together after 24 months which has combined red fruit, warming peat with stunning maritime character. Mac-Talla Amarone, Friends of The Feis 2025 has been bottled at 54.3% vol, non-chill filtered and without any additional colouring.
We bottled a rather epic (if we do say so ourselves) peaty Ardmore matured in Amarone casks for our 15th anniversary, when this combo is done right it really is superb. Rather excited with this latest Mac-Talla release.

Ripe stone fruits, with hints of apricot and peach, intertwined with deep cocoa richness. A subtle wisp of peat smoke lingers in the background.
Palate
Velvety dark chocolate coats the tongue, followed by juicy stone fruit sweetness. As the flavours unfold, waves of warming peat emerge, building to a long, lingering finish.
