A small batch release of single malt Mortlach, independently bottled by Pitlochry based whisky bottlers, Signatory. Distilled in 2012 and matured for 11 years in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks then bottled at 48.2% vol, un-chillfiltered and at natural colour. Mortlach is one of Scotland’s greatest distilleries and has a strong distinctive style that works very well in Sherry casks. This latest small batch release from Signatory should be excellent.
