Grain spirit produced in a pot still, then redistilled with juniper, coriander seed, liquorice root and a little sugar then aged in a very old sherry barrel, this Portobello Road Old Tom Gin pays homage to what the producer believes gin would've been before its transformation took place into the London Dry style we know today.
Tasting Notes
Portobello Road Old Tom Producer Notes
On the palate: Malty, juniper forward with a hit of citrus.
On the nose: Cereal, bready, doughy notes with the juniper much less dominant than in the standard Portobello Road 171 Gin
