The new 25 year old single malt release from Springbank distillery, launched early 2020. Matured in 50% sherry and 50% bourbon casks and bottled at 46% vol. Sure to be another delightful release and as popular as ever.
Tasting Notes
Springbank 25 Year Old | 2020 Release - Producer Notes
Nose: Initially parma violets and rhubarb custard creams. A fresh spritz of grapefruit followed by a malty honeycomb sweetness.
Palate: Maturity and complexity at its best. A rich and chewy palate with vanilla, fudge, tobacco and cured meats.
Finish: Oh yes, it's definitely a true Springbank with those coastal and earthy dunnage warehouse notes combining with honey glazed ham and waxy orange rind at the very end.
