
Released February 2025, this latest edition of Springbank Local Barley has been made exclusively from bere barley grown locally at High Ranachan Farm, Campbeltown. Matured in a combination of bourbon (50%) and sherry (50%) casks, then bottled at 58.1% vol; should be another superb single malt release from Springbank distillery.

Nose
Notes of cracked black pepper, cigar box and sage on the nose introduce this year’s Local Barley.
Palate
There are notes of shortbread and salted caramel on the palate, along with a herbal, basil note.
Finish
A long, sweet finish with notes of toffee standing out.
