Lochlea Over & Stout - A Rich Finale to the Overtone Story

Lochlea Distillery’s latest release brings its creative partnership with Glasgow’s Overtone Brewery to a close and it’s a fitting send off.

Lochlea Over & Stout was crafted from just five casks, including three that previously held Overtone’s double mash stout. After another full year of maturation, the whisky has taken on even greater depth, bold chocolate tones, sweet vanilla and a gentle BBQ smoke that perfectly complements Lochlea’s signature style.

Emma Kirk from Lochlea sums it up perfectly:

“This year, we’ve brought these remaining casks together… The result is a richer and fruitier dram, with even more of that stouty goodness imparting on our Lochlea spirit.”

Non-chill-filtered, natural colour and bottled at 52% ABV, Lochlea Over & Stout delivers stout sweetness on the nose, creamy toffee and vanilla on the palate and a long, spicy finish, ideal for sharing this festive season.
