A Modern Voice from Historic Leith

In the historic whisky port of Leith, where Scotch has been traded and matured for centuries, a new name is quietly building a reputation for integrity and taste: Woodrow’s of Edinburgh. Founded in 2022 by Woody Tan and Megan Brown, Woodrow’s embody a modern approach to independent bottling, one that values flavour above all else, alongside transparency and craftsmanship.

Independent, Bonded, and Proudly Edinburgh

Operating from their own fully bonded warehouse in the heart of Leith, Woodrow’s oversee every part of the process themselves. From cask sourcing and maturation to blending, finishing and bottling, everything happens under one roof — ensuring each release remains true to their vision of quality and authenticity.

Flavour Before Flash

In an industry that often celebrates age statements and flashy packaging, Woodrow’s stand out for a refreshingly different reason: they focus on the liquid. Their philosophy is simple; choose the right cask for the right spirit. Whether it’s a refill hogshead designed to highlight distillery character or an experimental finish that adds depth and dimension, each whisky is bottled only when it’s ready, non-chill filtered, natural in colour and full of character.
